NAAAP ATL Global Growers Volunteer Day

Join the Global Growers team for a fun morning of volunteering at Decatur’s Kitchen Garden!
Activity Description:
Activities may include but may not be limited to: cleaning, mulching, spreading compost, as well as some general landscaping.
What to wear:
Wear shoes and clothes that you feel comfortable working in, and that you don’t mind getting dirty.
What to bring:
Bring water and a hat. Sunscreen, gloves and bug spray provided. Bring snacks if you need.
Location Directions:
Decatur’s Kitchen Garden (DKG) is located in Legacy Park at 500 S. Columbia Drive in Decatur. Pull in the main entrance; parking is available behind and on both sides of the main administrative building. Behind the admin building, you’ll walk through the metal gate and down a dirt road toward the pond. The garden entrance is on your left before the pond (follow the boardwalk).
